The Mekong Aboard the AmaDara.

The Mekong is the longest river in Southeast Asia, flowing more than 2,700 miles from Tibet through Laos and Thailand to the flood plains of Cambodia and Vietnam, where the Mekong Delta empties into the South China Sea. For thousands of years, the river has served as an important conduit for people, goods, and ideas between the settlements along its banks. Today, it connects six Southeast Asian countries to one other as well as to the rest of the world.

Get familiar with this vital Southeast Asian waterway aboard the 124-passenger AmaDara on a 16-day adventure through Vietnam and Cambodia.

The AmaDara.

Aboard the AmaDara.

The lovely 124-passenger AmaDara made her debut in 2015. In keeping with her route in Southeast Asia, her decor is decidedly French-colonial, accented with locally crafted Mekong artifacts. Elegantly appointed staterooms are 251 square feet, and suites range from 366 to 502 square feet. Both staterooms and suites feature indoor and outdoor balconies.

The AmaDara offers additional comforts and conveniences, including a spa, fitness room, refreshing swimming pool, and hair salon.

Gather in the inviting Saigon Lounge to socialize and attend performances. Savor regional and Western cuisine in the Main Restaurant, or dine at the Chef’s Table.
