Two millennia of peaceful coexistence have produced a unique blend of Hinduism and Buddhism that is distinctly Nepalese in character.      Touch down in Kathmandu and head directly to Pokhara for some of Nepal’s most gorgeous scenery. Continue to Chitwan National Park, home to the elusive royal Bengal tiger and other splendid creatures. Then back to Kathmandu for remarkable cultural experiences, with side trips to Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and Patan, the city of fine arts.
