Meet the ethnic minorities that populate Yunnan Province, then see the place that the Chinese government has decreed is "Shangri-La." These are authentic parts of China that few lucky travelers get to see.
Meet Naxi, Yi, and other ethnic peoples. Walk the Stone Forest, expertly carved by Mother Nature. On a guided tour, visit the Lufeng Dinosaur Museum to examine amazing fossilized skeletons unearthed nearby.
Visit an historic Bai village, then settle into one of China's top hotels, the Banyan Tree in Lijiang. Explore lovely Lijiang, and stay at one of China’s best small hotels.
