We visit both the Ellora and Ajanta caves, two outstanding UNESCO World Heritage sites. Take in a beautiful mix of authentic ancient Buddhist, Hindu, and Jainist relics that serve to illustrate India’s long-lived religious tolerance. Our base of exploration is Aurangabad, where we stay at the palace-style Taj Residency, a luxury hotel set on five gorgeous acres of gardens.
