Using the R. Crusoe & Son Gift of Travel certificate
When you give an R. Crusoe & Son Gift of Travel certificate, the recipient can use it toward any R. Crusoe journey of at least five nights’ duration. To make reservations or inquiries, please contact us at 1-888-490-8047.
The Gift of Travel certificate may be combined with other forms of payment. Charges incurred by the recipient in excess of the value of the gift certificate may be settled by the recipient with cash or the following major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover/Nova, or Diner's Club.
Q: How can R. Crusoe’s Gift of Travel certificates be used?
A: The recipient or the gift giver simply contacts us at 888-490-8047, and R. Crusoe will coordinate the details of the journey directly with him or her.
Q: In what denominations are these Gift of Travel certificates sold?
A: They can be purchased for any amount, beginning at $500. Alternatively, you can gift a journey up to a maximum stated value, an amount you choose.
Q: When will my credit card be charged?
A: Payment is required by you when the booking with R. Crusoe takes place. At that time, payment must be made either by major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover/Nova, or Diner's Club) or by check.
Q: Can Gift of Travel certificates be ordered by telephone?

Q: What can the gift certificate be used for?
A. It may be used toward any R. Crusoe journey that’s a minimum of five nights. We ask that the recipient mention the Gift of Travel certificate to us at the time of booking.
Q: Must the full value of the Gift of Travel certificate be redeemed at once?
A: If a recipient uses his or her Gift of Travel certificate to pay for something of lesser value than is provided on the certificate, the amount of the purchase is subtracted, and the remaining balance stays on account for future use.
Q: Does the Gift of Travel certificate have an expiration date?
A: No.
Q: Can the Gift of Travel certificate be redeemed for cash?
A: No, the Gift of Travel certificate cannot be redeemed for cash or anything other than R. Crusoe & Son travel arrangements.
